It was really very simple. I started by heating ummmm...1/4 cup of brown sugar until it was just starting to melt (it will go quickly from melting to ugly-clump, so be careful). Added, err, 1 cup? 2 cups? of ketchup (just kinda squirted it in until it looked right) , stirred and heated. At this point, a lot of the brown sugar instantly turned to hard crystal clumps, but I just kept it all on th heat as I kept going and it seemed to eventually smooth out. Anyway, to that I added vinegar and worcestershire until I liked the color and flavor, then I chopped a couple cloves of garlic and let that simmer on low for, oh, 5-10 minutes.
