I just got off the phone with katiesue and she finally decided to evacuate. Phew!!!! She and Madz are on their way to Coronado for the day and possibly tonight. She wanted me to let everyone know she is OK.
They weren't on evacuation orders but the smoke was getting worse. I've been trying to convince her all day that it is much easier to leave on your own terms rather than in the middle of the night on evacuation orders.
Please say a prayer for all of those families in the path of this monster!
