This weekend, Wal-Mart will be having a "secret sale" - $499 for a 80GB PS3 with 10 free movies (plus 5 more by mail). But is it worth spending the $$ for a game console that I will probably never use for anything but movies? Should I just buy the movies and wait for a cheaper player after Christmas? Should I wait for Blu-Ray to lose the format wars and pick up the Disney movies when they come out in HD-DVD?

I know that this is a ridiculous dilemma - but does anyone have any opinions?
Not counting the five via mail (because of Moonies' comments), if you count the movies as a value of $250 (10 x average of $25 each), this brings the net price of the unit down to $250.00. Sounds like a winner to me.

In fact, I may do this as well: what are the details? I couldn't find anything on the web site (the only Secret Sale Special was on a Kitchen-Aid, which Susan already has).
