Oh yeah they do. As you know though, you aren't able to get 120 stars until after you beat Center of the Universe Bowser. It saves the game and then you come back to where you left off.

And yeah GD I did play Mario 64 but I don't think in that game you were sideways and upside down trying to jump on something It took me a little bit of that to get the hang of it. With Mario Galaxy tho, you'll play for a little while and go... omg this is sooooooooo easy. And then..... owie.
