So, has word fizzled that there was going be a second movie?
I loved me that Firefly. Amazing first season. And since you look back at the first season or two of most shows you love and go 'WTF??' - it's even more amazing that the show was that good from the get-go .... and so sad that it would have inevitably gotten much, much better.
