I was right! I could just tell from the (lack of) crowds on Black Friday that this was NOT going to turn out to be a good year.

In other news, I can't believe I just spent somewhere in the neighborhood of $7 for coffee and a cupcake. Then I remember I went to Peet's and Sprinkles, and it aaaaaaall makes sense
