Its a sinus headache so I think it is probably from the humidity issues. The heater was checked for leaks last year and is fine, but it is one of those lovely wall heaters installed in the 60's (the second installation of heat in our house replacing the original floor heaters).

Our wood stove really dries out the air, so we put a kettle of water on top to help humidify the air. Maybe a humidifier would help when you have the heater on.
