The entry level attorneys for 20-25K/year, for 80 hour weeks with no benefits? I believe I already said that wasn't something I was in a position to accept. Other people do. That is their choice. I've made mine. I can take a pay cut, but that's less than I made 10 years ago, with minimal education and no work experience.
As for alumni - those avenues are closed to me. The director of the career center has apparently cut me off for failing to bring the school the glory of a clerkship. They have to focus their attentions on the students with promise.
Anyway, this isn't something worth rehashing. I've made my decision.
