A very fond farewell to Disney Legend Joyce Carlson

I'm quite sad to learn of the passing of Joyce Carlson, the only bonafide Disney Legend I ever had the privilege of sharing an office trailer with. She was just a couple of doors down the hall from me for about 6 months back in 1997-98, and I had lots of fun, funny talks with her about Walt, about Joyce's days back in the animation "nunnery," and stories about Mary Blair, Alice Davis and many more. I was very lucky to know Joyce, and have had a chance to chat with her a few times since her retirement in 2000. (I even had lunch with her at Epcot's Japan pavilion about two years ago.) Anyway, she'll be sorely missed, by many many people. Next time you're at any "small world" around the globe, think of this sweet, smart, feisty lady. I certainly will.
