It's an ancient asian technique for removing hair ~ the technician uses a length of cotton thread which they hold in their hands, with the end of it in their mouth, while they twist it to remove the hair by the roots. It results in a very clean removal technique, or so I'm told. It's still pretty uncomfortable though - hair being removed by the roots is like that, I guess. My eyebrows look a little less fuzzy now though |
