No, I just remember as a kid these things seemed more "real" to me, so I started wondering if that was my childlike imagination at play - or the things actually are more cartoony than the original action figures, and what that might mean about the movie. But now I've learned that there's in fact a cartoon. I'm so far behind on this franchise...
