I really enjoyed the concert. Garth Brooks is wonderful live. He still has that great voice of his.
I think the big appeal for me is that he really comes across as an ordinary Joe and kind to boot. (ba dum ching) He played many of his hits and didn't hinder the entire afternoon playing new stuff no one will hear.

One of the nice things GB did was play to the entire audience. The sides, the seats behind him and even thanked the people sitting farthest away from him.
One of the highlights was when he gave a woman in the audience his guitar. She had asked him for a guitar pick and then got a signed guitar from him. Such a cool guy.
When Trisha Yearwood showed up, the Staples Center went nuts. Almost giving her a longer ovation than Brooks. She has a great voice, too.
Once again, a cowboy didn't disappoint this cowgirl. And, might I say that there were a number of hot cowpokes there today. And, for me, it was a real turn on to see a bunch of cowboys cheer it up for another cowboy. There was even one in the second row giving Brooks the 'I love you' sign throughout the show. (At first I thought it was the devil sign but then I saw his thumb.)
Anyway, I thank the Marla for the opportunity to see someone in concert that I've always wanted to see. Gracias, chica.

Great show.
