Yeah! Hey, cutting out that stuff really can make a big difference. And, yes, if you exercise more you will burn more calories. Cardio is great. I think when you move it up a step with exercise, you will be amazed at the next step of your results! *schnapp!!* {and, you'll look great when you meet Jon!!}

BarTopDancer~ She can't leave - the 5150 is a danger to self or others and is signed off on by a judge. She can't be forced to take medication or participate but if she doesn't, they can extend to a 14 day hold where they can forcefully medicate....I'm also back running 4-5 times a week.
Thank you, BTD. Dang it that they can't force her to take meds. It is what she needs. I just watched on one of those tabloid t.v. shows that she went willingly. It really did break my heart. I don't know much of her celebrity, really, so I can't grasp all of that. But, I just see a young woman and my heart breaks for her.

Ooo, running!! I haven't been running. I know I need to but I will gradually get back to it after I've been walking more. I know it shows excellent results. Must get back to it.

Prudence~ unfortunately I get it. {{{hugs}}}

LSPoorEeyorick~ My hubby is my buddy in this pursuit.
That can be a lot of fun. Especially since you probably consume a lot of meals together. For me, I started on my own. My hubby was too advanced for me physically so I did the majority of my weight loss on my own, or, walking with my buddy. But, together, it does work better.

Big support hugs to everyone, it can be quite difficult. Emotionally and physically. It is hard to become so physical, and then, when we start to lose the weight, people do start to treat you different and you will feel much different. Like you did before you gained the weight. It is a wonderful feeling. Mixed with fear of making sure you keep up with the workouts so you can still fit your new wardrobes.....yeah....I know that one....

Keep it up. So much to do in this life {until what 2012?} and a lot easier when we weigh less.
