		 Well, regardless of its actual importance to society as a whole, it was certainly an exciting game. And as with most things augmented by being in a group of people also similarly involved. 
 
Watching at home alone I would have been entertained but calm. Watching among a group of people I was on my feet shouting when Manning somehow broke out of that scrum and lobbed it for the game saving play. 
 
I don't think it cosmically important (I didn't even care strongly who won and just picked a side to help even out the rooting interests in our group) but it certainly was fun.
