LOL actually that won't work, they have to specifically agree to take this person in marriage, the words can be a bit different, like to you take this mans hand in marriage or other choices but the words do you take this person as your spouse have to be said for it to be considered legal, do you , yes, do you , yes, won't hold up in a court of law but it works as a great gag.
