I feel for you Goonie - Lists and a calendar you can write on. I personally despise lists - my mother loves them therefore I hate them. But they really are the best way to keep everything on track.

That and I use one sprial bound notebook to write everything down in. Then you have your lists, notes and everything else all in one place.
