That is indeed the most interesting thing to me too and I've been having a very challenging time trying to wrap my brain around it.

Did I see that right? Is the watch on the rocket payload 31 minutes ahead?

If so, the girl on the ship (can't remember her name) saw the rocket touch down on her display. Therefore, she is 31 minutes in the future. So how do they communicate in real time? Also, Daniel's watch should be set to ship time, not island time. So you'd think his watch would have the same time as the rocket payload. This is frying my brain.

Or...the ship time and island time are the same and somehow the rocket entered a rip in time and traveled backward 31 minutes. Which doesn't really make any sense at all.

This would have been much easier to think about if the rocket payload time was 31 minutes behind, not ahead. Now I need to watch it again.
