So, we had a really fun day today filled with lots of dogs and lots of family. First, we took Thurston to Central Park in Huntington Beach for brunch with a bunch of other pugs (and a Radio, our niece's greyhound), then played in the dog park for a couple of hours. Thurston made friends with a HUGE Bernese Mountain Dog. Radio had a better time on the "small dog" side of the fence. We revived ourselves at Peet's in the afternoon before heading over to my MIL's house to celebrate her 80th birthday with the rest of the family. It was such a nice day without ANY work obligations of any sort. We should have more days like this.
