Just more evidence of the mediocrity of the animated shorts. I Met the Walrus was amazing only due to its source material. As a piece of animation, it was entertaining enough, but no more astounding than anything one might find at JibJab or countless other online flash animation producers. Don't get me wrong, had someone sent me a link to it online I would have thought it fabulously awesome. But Oscar-worthy for its animation? Meh.
