My day started by being at work at 6am. We were working an Easter service for a church that booked the theater. I think we made it through without upsetting them; they're a very touchy group that has accused our theater of racism in the past. Not because we did anything, but because they seem to like feeling offended. They sued the city and caused a lot of trouble.

So we got done there. My friend and I went out for lunch. Hubby had text-messaged me and said to go on without him, he was just going to stay home and work in the pottery studio. I had hoped he would come join us.

Later in the day, we had another work shift. We loaded out "Stomp". Looks like it was a fun show. I was reminded again how much I like going up ladders and more to the point, how much I hate going *down* them. It was a very upbeat and energetic load-out, and they got packed in their trucks and gone in just under an hour and a half. Pretty good considering the set they had. My friend lusted after one of the guys in a kilt. I thought she was going to go to his hotel room. Several of us on the crew offered to get her drunk and drop her off. But no.

Now I'm home, it's midnight, and between the energetic shift and the active music in the car, there is *no* way I can settle down enough to sleep. I filled a page in my notebook with practice letters. I want to learn how to do the Copperplate script, and it's harder than it looks. That's the one on the Declaration of Independance and all those papers.

This morning I find the other girl has brought home a wild rabbit, apparently orphaned and too young to survive by himself. I thought I was doing so good, and not wanting to kill her or anything, and then she does this. Oy. Bunnies are cute and all, but no. We'll see what happens.
