My sister gave us a laser disk copy of
Muriel's Wedding as a wedding present. She had never seen it or knew anything about it, but her rationale was that it had "Wedding" in the title and she knew we were into laser discs.
We sat down one evening to watch it for a "we're newlyweds; let's have a romantic evening together" night. Um, no.
Moral of the story? Don't watch
Muriel's Wedding for inspiration.
