Saw Saul Williams tonight. He was AMAZING! Not only his poetry but his inspirational and progressive ideas. (He's an Obama fan, btw, for our political folk.)
Also, my poem "Bonanza" is nominated for an English department award. I know it's only a community college and all, and nominated isn't won (actually I don't even care if I win...for real), but I was pretty psyched about it.
