He's right that it was the voice of Ariel. But that fish in the mouth is still bizarre. Why? What, as a cartoon princess, would have prompted her to put a fish in her mouth. I mean, I can understand that she'd drink from the fish tank as she'd been drinking from streams and rivers, but she'd have probably noticed the fish in the glass no?
It just seemed so out of left field that I assumed it must have been a specific reference. But then, maybe I'm overthinking and they just used the fish in the mouth as a visual cue that she got the glass of water from the fish tank. Odd gag.
