I suspect that it is supposed to be there, it just doesn't come up because of the issue. Again: it is just a guess on my part.
If you go to
WB's profile page, there is a large space for the signature which seems to to indicate that something SHOULD be there. Compare that to
Alex's profile page (I don't believe that Alex has ever had a signature line) and there is no place for a sig line to be.
