You might get some leafy types to do well, like lettuce or baby greens including spinach. You can also get some tomatos to do half way ok, but you may want to put them on an inverted pot to get them up into the sun as much as possible. And some herbs like parsely may work.

Try different thinsgs and see what works. Just watch the watering closely, get a water meter. Dryness on a balcony in pots is a problem.
