And yeah, The White Album is kind of a kitchen sink, separate-ways mess. But I'm surprised how good and often cohesive it is despite that ... for which I largely credit George Martin.
I'm currently reading All You Need is Ears, George Martin's memoir. Every time I see the title I think of mouse ears.
