I didn't see Beowulf in the process, but the last Harry Potter was beyond lame.
Nightmare B4 Xmas was excellent ... but it still felt like a fad, and I never have to see that movie again that way (it's perennial with me, btw).
So I think I'll likely be opting for the 2-D versions. Depends on the individual movie, but I think 3-D is a sop to money making and not (as yet) part of the actual artistic process.
