The Mae Shi was really fun! And, Alex Stroup's younger brother was one of the lead singers. (See pic above.) I turned to Euro about 1/3 of the way into the show and said "If Alex was a punk rocker, that would be him on stage". Euro was just about to say the same thing to me.
They have a really fantastic mix of cacophony with Polyphonic Spree vocals mixed with good old punk rock screaming and Bobby McFerrin voice instrumentation. They were my favorite band of the night.
I really liked Pre as well. Energetic insanity along with really dumb lyrics make me happy. (Fu<k is Fun!)
The 2 song set by the singer from Abe Vigoda made me think the solo performance should've been named Itty Bitty Abe Vigoda.
