flippyshark's first surgery tomorrow

Hi all. Tomorrow (Wednesday) I will be undergoing hernia surgery. it's the very first time in my heretofore uber-lucky life that I will be going under the knife. It's a pretty routine procedure, and I'm looking forward to having it done. My inner 12 year old is a little freaked at the thought of being anaesthetized, just because I've never done it before, and I tend to resist giving my consciousness up to sleep let alone to some stranger in a white mask. Still, I expect everything will go smoothly, and then I will be convalescing for a few days here at home. Check in with y'all when I get back.
