Oddly, I found this job through Monster.
But, it took a lot of time and focus to read through what are the good jobs and what are the bad jobs. For me, I'm not a sales person, but guess what floods the marketing category? Sales jobs. I mean, I could probably do it, but I better understand the framework and enjoy it, and would wear down easily with the sales process, as lucrative as sales can sometimes be. I could tell this company had a clear definition of what it was doing based on its job description for this position. (Wow, someone gets it!) They seem to have a grasp of what their business is and what jobs actually entail, something I appreciate to the fullest and could tell from the advert.
I just checked the job pages with my company, and there's nothing open in OC or LA. I don't know what you're specifically looking for, but if I ever see something that has Morrigoon written all over it, I'll send it to you right away.
To speed the Monster.com process, I opened everything in tabs, went through and immediately closed out the ones where I didn't meet the minimum requirements (even when fairly close to meeting it), read the other descriptions, eliminated those that sounded fishy and/or weren't in the right category for me, and then researched the rest. It made the process pretty simple and quick... the weeding process, anyway.
I figured that I put a lot of time in arranging my resume around the position, I put care and effort into cover letters and presentation - why waste my time with too many positions, possibly blowing all of them from being over-extended.
