Part 1 of the 3 hour finale was shown again before parts 2 & 3 with an extended press conference. In the extra footage we learn the identity of the other 3 (of the 8 who made it off the plane in Jack's fabricated story).
Boone died of massive internal injuries soon after making it to the island. Libby died a few weeks later (no explanation of how). Charlie drowned a few weeks before their rescue.
So the math works out now. 8 plane survivors - 3 dead + Aaron = Oceanic 6.
