Yeah, decent scrambled egg type products can be produced pretty reliably with a microwave. They tend to be a bit airier than I'd like, but they're fine.
And a bonus, if you're going to put it on a sandwich (which is why most breakfast sandwich places I've seen do it) is that it is of a solid piece rather than bits that will fall out of a sandwich.
One key, though, is to take the egg out of the shell before microwaving it. Skip that step and things just won't work out for you.
