much review to do before photo posting. for as many as I took, many arent very good while some are even worse.
truck unloaded. gear stowed until needed next and my skeeter bites are healing nicely. while its good to be home, it all seems sadly lacking. I suppose thats to be expected after such a journey. massive kudos to all for making the trip all I could have ever imagined it could be and more.
Katie, it was great to see you again. btw, I have your thermos. PM me to arrange getting that back to you. awesome meals, but after last year, I never doubted it would be. thanks for being a fantastic team mate once again as well as being great company for the rides there and back, and providing nearly all of the equipment, prep and supplies for the stay.
Kevy, yeah, the hand condoms are mine. dunno...just throw em in your camp box until we manage to hook up again. Sorry KS and I didn't get a chance for goodbyes on the last morning, but we were striving to get back to SD before nightfall and miss the LA rush hour nightmare. as always, a pleasure spending time with you and your lovely wife. Susan, hope youre feeling better.
Brad, awesome omelettes. even the one I screwed up for you.
CP, thanks a ton for the loan of the guitar and to all the campers willing to quietly endure my so called 'playing'. I'll work on it
Alex, Im glad you came. it was a pleasure to meet you. gotta say, not at all what I expected, but couldnt begin to say what I did expect.
Chris, glad you were able to make it up there. wouldn't have been the same without Lord Swank on site.
a good portion of this trip will be ultimately impossible to fully describe. the site was one I would have never imagined in my wildest dreams. special thanks to Lisa for pointing us there.
to everyone. the trip couldnt have been better. from meals, to hikes. fires to singalongs, I consider myself beyond fortunate to have been allowed to join you all in this once again. so many memorable moments that I'll repeat in my mind a thousand times. endless thanks to you all
