I most definitely need to plan another trip up there. I need to learn more about the mandatory shuttles, last time we were there it was just park and hike. And, I need to see how long it takes to get there from Toms' Place. I think that is going to be our new 'base camp' area.

You are so lucky that you can do that in a spur of the moment thing! Our local area to scout about are the Laguna Mountains, the desert area east of here {for fossil hunting...even though they don't really exist, right?} and the coast for the tidepools and sunsets.

Well, haven't seen Lani in any shots, but, please tell her that MouseWife says hello!! {and I guess I am not worthy of her fitness level if you guys are doing such hikes!! We used to do the President Exericise thing, she was in charge?}
