Screw movies: TV! Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel are brilliantly written, cleverly performed, and terribly addictive and endearing. It took me about a season of watching (roommate at the time was forcing me) to get into it, but once I did, I was the one anxiously turning on the TV on Tuesday nights - just like he said I would.

Tom - also a major Buffy fan - has an organized list of which episodes aired when - so you can watch the series in tandem without getting ahead of yourself (there are crossovers.)
