I am intrigued by some of the applications Fej lays out. My original inquiry stems from reading an article on Google looking to the phone becoming the most common tool for accessing the internet. Twitter seems uniquely designed for "phone browsing" though both MySpace and Facebook have greatly improved their mobile interfaces.
I'm still at odds about the willfull loss of privacy - and wonder when the google earth integration and cell phone GPS will let you see your friends moving about a virtual globe in real time. I haven't check out all the links yet, but it seems that's already in the works.
Perhaps I'm also attracted by the fact that I've started and ditched a half dozen blog entries in the last week and like the idea of distilling things into a series of real-time one-liners. Of course, we all know some people's writting is more compelling than others, and my self consciousness might prevent me from keying in 140 characters that seem dull - I have a facade to maintain afterall.
Anyway, still on the fence, but maybe when I get my new cell phone I'll add this to my list of applications.
