The soundtrack is so wonderful! It really captures the mood of the early 1960's - as did the Play/Dance. Seeing a recent screening of The Servant was helpful for the story line, but not necessary at all. It is amazing what can be communicated through movement and music only with nary a word used. If you get a chance to see it, don't pass it up. Totally worth it!

BTW, if you don't know who Matthew Bourne is, he choreographed the new Mary Poppins playing in London right now as well as the ending Swan Lake sequence in Billy Elliott (among many other things). He's an amazing choreographer who brings a very fresh perspective to dance.
