So, con was 1/4 nightmare and 3/4 fun. Too many people and too many things that have nothing to do with comics and that sucks big time.

The train ride down was a pain because someone got hit on the tracks and we had to wait 2 hours in Chatsworth.

The hotel - Holiday Inn had a nice view of the bay, though the bus to Con was always packed and always took forever to show up. We had one driver that must've been a racer in his day because he was flying around corners. That was a good ride.

The con was 25% comics and the rest was crap. Getting thru and isle where any movie studio or Star Wars was based was impossible.

Preview night was a major disaster as thousands of attendies were packed in the walkway in front of the con with no visable lines. The professional registration was hidden behind the attendee crowd and the "line" for Media and no visible signage. Once I found the "line" and got my badge it went smooth but you would think that a sold out convention would have some sort of order.

I got a bunch of cool stuf and saw some celebs. Mostly I did the fanboy thing and got to meet some of the "old timers" like Mike Grell, Joe Staton and saw an AMAZING BBC documentary on Spiderman creator - Steve Ditko that was rock solid. In the "Fanboy" catagory I did very well. Professionally, it was hit/miss. Some neat stuff might happen in the next year but we'll see.

Had a great time, but really wish this was a comic convention again. It's tragic. I suspect I will go next year but I am considering only a day or two and put my money towards a real comic-con in New York or up north.

Saw Ponine, Mousepod, Capt Jack and Lizzy! Capt Jack has a pic that I hope he posts!
