Dear All,

Sooooo...we didn't tell you this earlier but the LashBear went to hospital today at 1:00pm to have surgery for the snapped tendon in his right arm.

This happened whilst lifting a 2 seater lounge last weekend. It wasn't the lounge that did it, as I can move it easily even as a Stoat - it was the way in which it was lifted.

Anyway, they swobbed him in yellow stuff that made him look like a Peking Bear (how topical - pardon the double pun) and after waiting 3 hours in pre-theatre, Bear was finally wheeled off for a 2 hour plus operation to re-attach the (whince) snapped bit.

I visited him tonight and he was quite groggy (and believe me, I wanted to be) and he said that all went well.

This particular needle pulling-thread only cost a gap (do you folks call it 'gap' when the medical fund doesn't cover the whole charge?) of $1000
b-pa-b-b-bucks.

That would be around 3 times the cost of the lounge that we wanted to move.

Soooooo...the moral of the story is, next time you want to move furniture, think twice, hire dude(s) to do it, or sell the sucker on eBay and let the buyer move it.

Jeez. Two requests for Tylenol in 24 hours. I think I'll buy shares.

Love and hugs,

The Stoat XXX.
