I volunteer to help smack 'em!
It's why I stopped watching "Animal Cops" on Animal Planet - I started to hear about too much of that crap outside of television land, and realized it's sadly not that uncommon. (Or, at least appears to be.) What's even scarier - some of those people have or will have children.
