We made $143, and that was without selling any of our big-ticket items.

Story of the day:

Around 12:30, a couple with a little 4yo daughter bought a few items, one of which was GC's copy of South Park: Bigger Longer Uncut on VHS. While taking their cash, I commented to the dad that it's a great film. In broken English, he said, "It's for her. It looks cute. She picked it." and handed the tape to his little girl, who started smiling and pointing at the characters on the box while carrying it to the car.

I couldn't say anything, because I was in disbelief. Ken, who was sitting next to me raised his book to his face and was practically in tears. While they were getting in their car, I asked Ken, "Am I just tired, or did they seriously just buy South Park for their little girl?" Ken affirmed that I wasn't just tired, and much laughter followed.

I could only deduce this theory that led them to this purchase: it was VHS, meaning they're possibly a lower income family and wouldn't even have cable, added with the cultural differences, so they wouldn't have a clue as to what South Park is.

I kept praying for the next couple hours that they wouldn't watch the tape right away and come back.

Although, I kinda chuckle at the thought if they decide to let her watch the movie unattended and the little lass shows up at Kindergarten, teaching other kids how to sing "Uncle ****er".
