Yeah, the Monday show might end up being a little better for the work crowd, though still tough. I'm really amazed at how many films are at this show, but the "Programme" of short films that Steel Valley got grouped with all are getting the short end of the stick with play times. I suppose it's better than say -- 2:00 PM on a weekday...
Anyhow, I'm looking forward to it being in a newer, leaner, better form in the coming festivals. This is kind of an end (of sorts) to the major festival season, so when the fall comes along, if this gets a good reaction, it can carry over to a good reception at some of the bigger festivals toward the end of summer into the fall.
A lot of really cool people in the industry have been looking at the film, and he's got a lot of hope for turning this into a feature-length project, likely including elements from Tim Ryan's run for U.S. Congress...
