Soooo...
After I got my MRI last week, I was told the Dr. would call me with the results (my initial diagnosis was a torn meniscus and maybe a small tear in my ACL). Instead, I got a phone call on Friday telling me the doctor wanted to see me on Monday to discuss the results.
My immediate thought was that he wasn't calling me in for
good news.
I went in yesterday and as he was putting all of the images from the MRI up he told me, "well, you don't have a torn meniscus and your ACL looks good."...pause..."however, a blown ACL would be
good news."
I have moderate to severe arthritis in my right kneecap. I got a huge shot of cortizone and will have surgery which (including PT) will take 4-6 months to recover from. Did I mention I'm not quite 41?
I've had a crappy couple of days.
