I would love to go back to that but:
-my polling place moves in capricious ways that distress me, even in years that I don't travel:
-I travel a great deal; I will be on the East Coast on the big day this year. I live in SoCal. Even if I knew where my polling place was this time it would not help.
-so, I put my silly ballot into an envelope that I'm sure is going to be counted well after the fact, if needed, after the election has been "called." It's fun. Ha-ha. But it's all I got.
-at least I get to sit at home and carefully study all of the less-hoo-ha'd issues on there at my leisure, and then place a carefully-considered vote.
