I really don't hate DCA. I think it has some really great elements. Unfortunately, those elements are not part of a really great cohesive whole, so I find myself going into DCA to partake of a particular attraction (and then leave), not to just spend time there as I do for Disneyland.
And no, simply adding in new attractions isn't going to fix that. But, I'm a bit optimistic. The changes suggested for the entry plaza, for example, including the trolley and whatnot, are what is needed to complete a transformation that would leave DCA a destination in and of itself, not just "the place where I can ride Toy Story Mania."
However, whether those changes will survive and be duplicated across the park remains to be seen.
