Ha, if only. So Isaac, why does your purposely included (thanks) screen cap show the steps in similar shades of pink when the restoration I saw at the El Cap had the multi-color steps I love (albeit much more muted than in previous versions.)


The steps is what, fairly or unfairly, I judge the restorations on. Because it's my theory that restorers simply make up the colors as they go along ... wish really, really, seriously bothers me since color styling was something vital to Disney animation and was carefully considered, designed and executed by the artists.

The same character in the same costume might have 20 different sets of color stylings, for how they would look under different lighting conditions.

If the restorers are simply making up the colors, it is NOT a restoration.
