It is so easy to color correct something at several stages in a transfer. There could be color correction going on in telecine, during digitizing, etc. When I was transferring films at a previous job, color became really subjective. Lots of times the production crew, director etc would sit in on the process so that the look they were going for was maintained. I could see how the color could change for
Sleeping Beauty, I mean are the movie's filmmakers still around?
