If you don't want to go because it doesn't float your boat, that's one thing. But declining because of clothing or authenticity seems quite a stretch.

Goodness knows I'm not exactly known for my goth tendencies, but it's good clean fun to get your goth on for a day amongst all the other folks. Most people just wear a black t-shirt, seriously. If you're wondering, I have
pics from 2007. Obviously I mostly photographed friends and fabulous folks, but if you look around the background you'll see most folks, seriously, are just wearing black t-shirts.
