I was just headed here to post the same link, only in a different thread.

What I don't get is that other people watched. 1,000 people watched this happen. Were they forced to go? Or did they just have a sick fascination with watching someone else be killed? I just don't have any words for a culture that considers the public, drawn-out execution of a child victim of a brutal attack to be a spectator sport.
