Looking at the comments on the linked page, he does not have it. The award hadn't been granted yet.

Apparently when you go to BYU it is part of things that the school can refuse graduation for violations of the school's honor code and that is what they're doing. Whether there are recent violations (and per the comments the school claims there were other issues) I have no idea.

But yeah, if it had already been given I don't see "revocation" having any impact except in situations where you are relying on the school to vouch for your status (applications to other schools, thorough background checks, thorough resume checks).
